The 8th Day – A short prophetic study on A Perfect World where we Rejoice in the Torah!

The 8th Day is a foreshadow of A Perfect World where we Rejoice in the Torah! (this year observed October 7th, 2023)

Just as the 7 days of Sukkot look forward to the 7th Millennium…

The 8th Day Assembly looks forward to the 8th Millennium, when sin and death are forever gone and we rejoice that
the Torah of God is  forever written upon our hearts!

8th Day Assembly Commandment:

Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations…” Lev 23:36-37

This 8th Day is a foreshadowing of having our hearts transformed and symbolically circumcised in sensitivity to Divine Love before entering the 8th Millennium:

Lev. 12:3  And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

Deut. 10:16  Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Deut. 30:6  And YHVH thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Eze. 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, of all the foreigners who are among the sons of Israel, shall enter My sanctuary. Eze. 44:9

“Behold, the days come, says YHVH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah… this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says YHVH, I will put my Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YHVH: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says YHVH: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. “ (Jer. 31:31-34)

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold,
the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.” (Rev. 21:1:5)

Grand Simchat Torah Celebration everyone!
May we Rejoice in the Torah having been written upon our hearts over the last year and look forward to that Great Day when Torahlessness will be no more!
