France just declared that they will officially recognize a Palestinian state in September… the formal announcement to be made at a session of the UN General Assembly in New York where many more Nations are likely to do the same. Revelation 11 says, “Jerusalem will be trodden underfoot the Nations” in the last days… (i.e. the UN United Nations creating a Palestinian State!) Could this be as soon as next spring? Time will tell!

Currently, the State of Palestine is recognized by 147 of the 193 member states of the UN now, , which equates to over 76% of all UN members, so we don’t have far to go to see further prophetic fulfillment.

To become a full member state of the United Nations, including official recognition of Palestinian statehood by the UN itself (not just by individual countries), the process involves:

• Recommendation by the UN Security Council – Requires at least 9 of the 15 Security Council members to vote in favor, with no veto from any of the 5 permanent members (China, France, Russia, the UK, and the US).

• Approval by the UN General Assembly – Requires a two-thirds majority vote of the 193 UN member states (which they already have the numbers for!)

As of my last update on this in April 2024, the Security Council voted on a draft resolution recommending Palestine’s full UN membership and the result was:

• 12 votes in favor

• 2 abstentions (UK, Switzerland)

• 1 veto (United States)

This means that only the US stands in the way of the Tribulation beginning!  (Pray for our Leaders to continue to Stand with Israel and continue to veto the creation of a Palestinian State!)

There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.” – Joel 3:2 (Joel 4:2 in Tanakh)

This is one of the clearest and most direct verses condemning the division of Israel’s land!

According to many commentators (e.g. Rashi, Radak, and other scholars), God will declare judgment upon all nations that carve up His land in the last days!
