Wishing all our wonderful Godly men a very Happy Father’s Day today as you all have the privilege of being Spiritual Fathers to someone even if you don’t have any children of your own! God bless you and remember to also give thanks to our Heavenly Father today who has shown us His amazing infinite unconditional Love!

Some Beautiful Father’s day Thoughts from our Sages…

Jewish tradition holds that a Torah teacher is like a father because they give spiritual life, guide the soul, and deserve honor equal to or greater than a biological parent. They don’t just educate—they help “birth” the eternal self of the student and nurture the soul—guiding the student in truth, righteousness, and closeness to God, shaping the character, faith, and identity of the student. This makes their influence generational, like a father’s legacy.

In the Mishnah (Sanhedrin 19b) it says, “Whoever teaches his friend’s son Torah, it is as if he gave birth to him.” This highlights the idea that spiritual teaching creates a new life, just as a parent does physically.

Thus it is a great privilege for me to facilitate the “born again” spirit in you – awakening you to your true Divine Identity and leading you into a “new life”!

The Shulchan Aruch (Yoreh De’ah 242) also teaches that one’s Torah teacher brings a person to the World to Come.

How wonderful to think of the love, joy and unity we share in our Spiritual journey together ever moving closer to the Olam Haba “world to come” where all things will be restored!

I love you all as a father loves his children!  May Heavenly Father bless us all as His precious children!
